Gary Neuens, Vice President/Design/Build; Secretary/Treasurer
Gary began his career in the electrical industry in 1974, joining Staff Electric for the first time two years later. From 1985 he spent time operating his own consulting engineering business where he expanded his experience and built a following of clients before rejoining us in 1993. His dedication to staying current and maintaining a high level of competency in all aspects of the industry has led to the success of many projects.

Design Professionals

Dave Gennrich, Vice President/Engineering and Estimating
Dave has spent more than 45 years designing and estimating electrical systems. He has been the chief estimator for Staff Electric since 1964 and has served as vice president of engineering and estimating for the past 22 years. Whether it’s designing, estimating and evaluating bid plans or preparing budgets for other contractors and owners, Dave seeks practical and economical solutions to every construction challenge and code compliance issue he faces.

Mike Surfus, P.E., Design/Build Electrical Engineer
Mike joined Staff Electric in 1999, bringing with him 13 years of design experience, mostly gained at a local consulting engineering firm where he served as director of electrical engineering. As a registered professional engineer, Mike’s technical expertise in systems and distribution, along with his communication and organizational skills, have made him a valuable asset to Staff. Mike is able to provide and implement designs that cost effectively meet project objectives. In addition, his partnerships with owners, architects and planners bring unique insights to their processes and project management.
