Brown Deer High School seniors Diego Torres and Ruben Mojica signed letters of commitment with Staff Electric on Thursday May 23rd, and will enter the workforce as paid apprentices upon their graduation from High School.
Both participated in a hands-on technical training through the high schools Industry Advisory program. The program is not for additional credits or a grade, but it gives students the opportunity to learn more about the trades and to prepare them for jobs after graduation. The Industry Advisory program took place before the start of school in the high schools Productivity Center; the school partnered with the Building2Learn Consortium and the North Central State Regional Council of Carpenters, providing hands-on technical skills training.
Please help us welcome Diego & Ruben!
