Your Trusted Electrical and Technology Partner for 100 Years and Counting

For over a hundred years, Staff Electric has operated as an electrical contractor with three overarching values: quality, integrity, and experience.

These core beliefs drive everything we do. For our customers, this means we leverage technology and experience to maximize efficiency and deliver the best solutions. As experts in design/build, BIM, power, lighting solutions, and more, we’re not afraid to explore uncharted methods to invent and implement processes no one ever has before.

As leaders in the electric power industry, it’s on us to build for the future. We will light the way by upholding a standard of excellence in customer service, quality, innovation, and safety. This standard is lived out in our facilities, on job sites, and throughout our community. From sponsoring little league teams to black tie events, we are diligent about supporting the community that supports our company, so we can continue doing what we love for another hundred years.

Become an Owner

Since 2021, Staff Electric has been proudly 100% employee-owned. Being an ESOP company means our people aren’t just employees, they’re owners. Every individual has a direct stake in our success, and that ownership mindset shows in the work we do every day. Beyond building projects, we’re building futures by supporting our team’s retirement through the Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

What is an ESOP?

An ESOP, or Employee Stock Ownership Plan, is a retirement program that gives employees ownership in the company where they work. Instead of just receiving a paycheck, employees earn shares of the company over time, which grow in value as the business grows. When employees retire or leave, they can cash out the value of those shares. In simple terms, it’s a way for employees to become part-owners of the company, benefit from its success, and build long-term financial security.

Benefits of ESOP

At Staff Electric, being 100% employee-owned means every person on our team has a stake in our success. Through the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), employees don’t just build projects, they also build their financial future. This structure creates a culture of ownership, teamwork, and long-term stability.

Retirement Security

Employees earn shares in the company over time, building wealth for their future.

Shared Success

When the company does well, employees directly benefit.

Stronger Culture

Ownership fosters collaboration, accountability, and pride in the work we do.

No Personal Investment Required

Shares are earned as part of employment, employees don’t have to buy in.

Long-Term Stability

ESOP companies often outperform others, offering greater job security.

Becoming Fully Vested

Being fully vested means you officially own 100% of the shares you’ve earned through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Once you’re fully vested, those shares are yours to keep — even if you leave or retire from Staff Electric.
