Every Project Calls for its Own Unique Process

Every project has a life of its own. We know better than to tack a cookie-cutter solution on it and call it a day. We analyze every project before we decide how best to tackle it. Our team implements a variety of methods including Design/Build, Prefabrication, BIM, and more to maximize efficiency and produce high-quality work.

Powered by Safety

Electrical safety is a fundamental part of our process. It’s integrated into our everyday operations, with daily reporting, daily safety planning, and high risk analysis planning for specific tasks. We have a mobilized safety team that does weekly visits to job sites to verify all safety processes and procedures are being followed.

We have worked diligently to build a culture of safety at Staff Electric. Our Safety Incentive Program invites employees to share ideas on improving safe practices, and Staff Electric University (SECU) provides training for our employees to maintain specific credentials that meet our safety requirements. With safety ingrained in our culture, we feel confident that everyone will go home the same way they came in to work.

Lean + Agile Construction Methods

We believe that Lean and Agile Construction Methods are better together. Using both is the future of our industry, and enables us to provide enhanced and consistent value to our customers. Combining both at the beginning of a project maximizes end results by allowing us to effectively manage tasks, focus on critical details of the overall project, produce predictable workflow, and more. Projects that implement both Lean and Agile Construction Methods are more likely to be:

  • Completed ahead of schedule
  • Safer
  • Within expected budget
  • Higher quality outcome for end-user
  • End deliverable to owner at less cost

Prefabrication and Modularization

When it comes to prefabrication and modularization, there’s nothing we can’t do. And that’s the honest truth. We push prefab to the limits, because we know the cost-saving, time-saving benefits it delivers to our clients. When we’re able to build modular components in a controlled environment where we can utilize standardized processes, and then transport them completed to the project site, we raise the bar for efficiency. Benefits that can be realized through prefabrication and modularization are:

  • Enhanced innovation
  • Defect-free work
  • Time and cost savings
  • Safer working conditions
  • Better quality control

Building Information Modeling

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital representation of a facility’s physical and functional characteristics. It provides a complete, accurate, and always up to date model, that’s accessible by our in-house designers and technicians as well as those in the field. We use BIM in every step of the project, from planning to design all the way through construction. Additionally, a dedicated Project BIM Lead is appointed to the construction of the model just like one would manage construction of the actual building. BIM enables us to:

  • Full project coordination with all trades
  • Produce defect-free work
  • Respond to constructability challenges
  • Eliminate potential waste
  • Complete projects on-time and ahead of schedule
